Counselor Salesperson

This program develops consultative selling skills and demonstrates how to use these skills to solve the customer's business problems.

The program starts with feedback from customers regarding current selling techniques. Participants are introduced to a model of selling that emphasizes a consultative approach. Video, lecture, discussion, and role-play provide opportunities for learning and practice.

Topics cover the entire selling cycle and include:

Discovering/Questioning
Advocating
Supporting/Servicing


Using a consultative approach to selling helps you form a problem-solving alliance with customers. This course develops methods for presenting sales solutions in a way that bridges the gap between what customers have and what they really want. Techniques taught in this program will help you overcome objections, close a sale, and maintain good relationships with your customers.
